This is another good point. A lot of people are under the impression that vegans are depriving themselves from tasty food. When people ask me if it's hard to be a vegan, I say fuck no! I love my fruit and veggies. What would be hard for me would be to eat something non-vegan. And I simply can't IMAGINE eating meat

You know, a lot, if not most vegans, eat that way for ethical reasons, rather than health reasons, right?? Health reasons are usually secondary to not wanting to eat animals or anything that comes from an animal.

I think anyone who does immediately draw a connection between veganism and eating disorders, clearly doesn't know what they're talking about. On either front.

Stop trying to play Devil's Advocate just for the sake of an argument. It's just making you look silly.

Exactly. It's not the reason I'm doing it, but it is the reason I initially went vegetarian how ever many years ago. Plain and simple, I don't like eating garbage. But I love eating.

a friend of mine was vegan for 9yrs, and he certainly didn't have an eating disorder, given that he competes in mma and is probably the fittest person i know. hardly a frail, fainting manorexic.
