Through the years people have been hooked into the the Kombucha Tea craze. One person about a decade ago or so had a bunch of infomercials on it but he got in trouble for not explaining the health risks.
Right before I made this post I looked up Kombucha Tea real quick on Wicki. Months or maybe years ago I did so as well on google and came across posts and threads warning people not to use if they have any sort of liver damage.
I looked on Wiki cause i thought it was liver and kidnenys but instead it enlarges your spleen and liver. There was barely any a mention about all the danger this magic mushroom tea does. It really cleanses out some toxins but also particles of your liver too. I would strongly advise anyone, even in good health, not to drink this tea, except for maybe detoxing but may jusyt want to go by other methods.
Kombucha Tea needs to be taken off the market or at least have the FDA put a label on it.
I remember as a kid all the craze was Comfrey Tea and that too can cause major organ damage in a hort period of time.
So stay away from Kombucha and Comfrey Teas!
Dont get caught in one of those pyramid ponzi schemes either where someone tries to hook you into the the pyramid by provising you with the mushroom that makes this ghastly elixer.

Yeah I did see that Courtney was shilling this Tea which is not for everyone.
The tea I am talking about Kombucha comes from a mushroom and there was a big Ponzi money scheme that got this guy busted about a decade ago, real fuzzy on the details.
For years the AMI taboid health sections have extolled the miracle green tea but mostly negative stuff if any about Kombucha.
Lets just put it this way, no matter what you are on prescribed or from the street there are a mulititude of safe teas to drink before the mushroom juice tea.
Strongly urge everyone not to go on this kick and stick to tried and true teas that dont have any adverse affects on vital organs.
There is a whole list of them out there. I got I booklet for free at Cofee and Tea poineer Peets and they list many teas. No Kombucha either...
There are better ways to cleanse your body people and dont fall for this niave treatment.
Sure wish Wiki would be more forward on the danger affects of Komucha but sure that page was slapped up by a Kombucha Pyramid scheme Co.

I haven't tried this because of the hipster hype. now that it's deadly though I'm more inclined than ever to try it once. the taste better be worth the liver damage.
