Weight instability

I notice that I seem to gain and lose weight for no reason whatsoever.
I don´t make an effort to diet or start eating more. I know that before my period I gain weight, but this isn´t it. It´s like a 3 month thing.
I also notice I gain weight when I´m eating less. Like I was doing another job and we had coffee breaks all the time, and I´d always grab a snack, I lost some. Now that I am working hard and I only have time to have lunch, I gained some. Does anyone else go thru this? Seems to be quite easy for me to gain or loose. It pisses me off because you get all these strech marks.
What can you do about this?

If you're not eating often enough your metabolism slows down and could cause your body to be "holding on" to anything fatty you may be having at lunch.

The other thing is, caffiene is not such a great thing if you're trying to keep weight off. It's better to avoid it wherever you can.

I can relate b/c I have the same problem--for awhile I was trying to eat right and exercising regularly and I didn't lose a pound, it was so frustrating. Then earlier this year, I didn't change anything in my diet or exercising habits and all the sudden I dropped 10 pounds. So I don't get it either. I've tried following nutrition and exercise guidelines to lose weight but apparently my body has a mind of its own.

I will say, regardless of weight loss or gain, when I was being really healthy, I just felt good about myself and my body felt very healthy even if I wasn't happy with my weight.
