Porridge is always good. Buy some oats, add either water or milk and shove it in the micro for 5 minutes.

Simple potatoes and assorted veg?

Stir-fries! Fry some peppers, celery and nuts or whatever in a pan. Boil some rice and boil some vegetables. Add them to the pan and stir them.

Can you not learn to cook whatever you used to eat at home?

root veggies!

Gratin
Slice potatoes, onion or leek, and root veggies you like (carrot, parsnip, rutabaga(-'swede'?) sunchokes<3, sweet potatoes etc ) add salt pepper garlic and whatever you like, pour milk and cream over -you can have a tiny bit flour in too to make it a little bit thicker (adding BBQ sauce is also amazing)-, put in oven, 200-250C, til ready, takes like 40ish minutes, put grated cheese on top five or so minutes before you take it out
serve with some kind of meat if you like, or some tofu or whatever

just cutting them into pieces and adding salt and pepper and whatever seasoning you like, and olive oil on them and just putting the in the oven like that is really lovely to

or make more interesting mash, with regular potatoes + some more fun stuff in there, sweet potatoes, celery root or beetroot to make it a lovely colour!

Swedish pancakes!
mix together a batter of 3 eggs, 6 decilitres of milk, 2-3 dl of wheat flour-or mix some other flour in the aswell, to make it more healthy and tasty- some melted butter(isn't necessary, esp not as you fry them in butter), add a little salt.
heat up a flat frying pan and put some butter in there, it needs to be pretty hot and sizzling. then pour a thin layer of the batter in the pan and turn it over when the unfried side is firm and the fried side is golden brown. Goes pretty quickly and you'll get the hang of it after two of three. Serve with jam/sugar/berries/peanutbutter/cinnamon whatever. Amaazing
Or make crepes out of some if them

Tescos do the best chilli and lime pre-marinaded mackeral.
Less then 60p each, wrap it in tin foil and put it in the oven for 20 minutes.
Then have it with steamed green veg or salad and some form of potato or rice.
And you can feel all healthy with the fish eating side of it.
I can not stress this enough.

i have eaten fried egg sandwiches for lunch lately, it's hearty and i don't really need any other big meals before or after it to fill me up all day

i add cheddar/colby jack shredded cheese and i use garlic herb butter because i don't have salt or pepper in the dorm hehe

it's good, really good
wish i had a toaster though, skillets are inefficient
