| | | What's your favorite coffee? So I have recently discovered the french press coffee maker and I am in love with it. I was wondering what kind of coffee I should use? Strong? Mild?
Has anybody ever used one? It's so easy (and cheap) and it makes the coffee frothy and rich. |

| | | I'm rubbish with "real" coffee. I have some really nice instant from Israel - a massive jar that's been in my cupboard since January! It will never run out...

| | | I bought a percolator in spain recently, I'd never seen one before, but then I only just started drinking coffee so they're probably rather common place.
anyway, yeah it's amazing, I bought some douwe egberts cause it was on sale at tesco and I'm getting the hang of making something passable.

| | | I buy the Fair Instant brand coffee, only for fairtrade reasons really. I don't think there is all that much difference in taste between instant coffees unless it's a really cheap crappy one. I keep meaning to get out my coffee maker and start buying beans again.
I recently got this Nicuraguan (sp?) instant coffee that was on offer and I really liked it, so I'm going to try other coffees from South America. I've read that South American coffee is considered 'inferior' by experts, but I don't care, I liked it. I also plan to look in to how to make an espresso/buy a special machine if necessary. |

Maybe that is just my interpretation of it though.

| | | i loved the coffee in vanuatu, in 5 days between dad and i we went through two packets. that good.
i don't mind instant though, if we're being honest, sometimes i prefer it. of course nescafe.
best way to have coffee is with a little vanilla and milk.
