| | | you could use a muffin-tin and put wax paper or something to make sure it doesn't stick, and then put rasberries in the bottom of each cup, and then pour a sufficent amount of chocolate over it and make little circular treats of chocolate-raspberry goodness.

do you think the hot chocolate will make them go mushy and weird though?

| | | do not pour hot chocolate over your raspberries. the chocolate should be room temperature. |

| | | what type of chocolate are you using? for future references, you should never get chocolate hot. you'll fuck up the chocolate and have to go to chocolate jail. you should melt chocolate slowly at a very low temperature. it should never be hot to touch. but no, it shouldn't set for a while or mess up your fruit if heated properly.
and my recommendation would be to hand dip the raspberries one by one. |

but yeah, room temperature-ish (slightly higher i'd bet). and then spoon or pour it over.
or you could pour the choclate first, and then put the raspberries atop it, and push them into the chocolate a bit.
you can do a tester of each kind to see what works best?

| | | i wouldn't freeze the berries unless you're planning on eating them frozen. if you aren't planning on eating them frozen the fruit will sweat as it's thawing and the chocolate will come off and it's a mess.
if you have fresh berries keep them that way. just make sure you wash and dry them thoroughly before dipping. |
