so i have been drinking a lot of tea. and i recently discovered earl grey apparently it tastes like flowers but to me it tastes like art.

discuss tea.

how many cups a day?
does it stain yr teeth like coffee?
do you put the milk in first like a peasant?

i used to be just a tea drinker but i've now discovered my love of coffee.

however my fave teas are:

chai
earl grey
lemon blueberry
plain old tetley!

I thought I was following an oddly-titled thread into the 18+ forum, but now I see this all makes more sense.

I like green tea that comes in cheap boxes with writing I can't read, and I don't know what kind they are b/c they all look the same to me.
And the OOlong in the grey box- what's that, Twinings? w/ milk.
And purple box Darjeeling w/ milk.
And any old Earl Grey w/ milk
And the Puher (puer?) my friend's mom serves to me from another cheap-looking box.

i love tea. i went through a phase where i drank about 6 cups of regular tea with no cream or sugar a day. i really like it with half and half and a little sugar too.

as for flavored teas nothing beats peppermint or berry zinger from celestial seasonings.

i try not to drink too much tea/coffee. it stains my pearly whites.

come on, some one else has to make the requisite dirty `tea-bag` joke this time. I can`t always be the one always doing this sort of thing.

my tia is married to this chinese guy. & he brings over this tea from china that is fkn SUPERB. it's called zhen hieng (prbly butched the shit out of that one), which is azn for "heaven's pool" or smthing. but let me tell you. it's amazing. that's how tea should taste. but i hear its pretty expensive. like, in the $200 range just for a ½lbs.

now that i think about it, "tea" was probably azn code for heroin & that's why i liked it so much tbh.

but if we're talking bags, i like Yogi&Co's tea the best. just cuz its cheap & its pretty strong. green & chai is my favorite, sans the milk on the latter. mostly because i'm not a pussy.

what can i say. i like my tea.

I barely ever put anything other than lemon in my tea. Milk just ruins it for me. I even like chai without milk. I'm a huge tea drinker. I need to have at least 1 cup a day if I'm home.

i don't drink it much in the summer but when i do i like earl gray, peppermint, chamomile & chai but it always tastes like ass when i make it so i leave that one up to starbucks or beaners.
