fit body

I have started to exercise quite a bit and want to carry on, I really want to tone up (especially my stomach) but everyone I see who exercises a lot seems to have one of those straight up, straight down bodies and I don't want that. are there any good exercises anyone can suggest that tone you up without maknig you lose your curves completely?

Try combining cardio like spinning with core stabiity classes like yoga or pilates as suggested and abs exercies. That way you can really sculpt your body into how you would like it to look and focus on particular movements to create your desired curves.

Dancing would be the best cardiovascular exercise to maintain a curvier shape. Use yoga, pilates, and/or ballet for toning.
Exercise won't drastically change your body type. Those straight up and down people (like me) probably would be like that whether they exercised or not (just softer, maybe less bulky.) If you do tend to gain muscle easily, avoid excessive resistance/weight training.
I work out at home a lot & Ellen Barrett and Tracy Effinger have really good dvds for women. I'm willing to make copies for anyone who wants to try them out.
