| | | bored eating okay first of all i really don't care about "getting fat" or whatever it's called.
but for practical purposes, like stretching my financial resources, i've really got to stop eating everything in the fucking house just because i'm bored.
i know it's like "okay well stop" but anyone who has this problem knows that it's not really that easy. so... what do you do to stop yourself from bored eating? any suggestions are welcome, even if they're stupid. with the exception of "clean your room" because no. |

| | | When I'm on the computer I forget to eat, perhaps that may help you too?
I eat out of boredom all the time, and I find the best way to stop it is to entertain yourself.
Maybe you could go for a walk, but I think you still have that big cast thing on your leg? Unless you wont let that stop you.

| | You could come online and argue with people until you want to kick their asses??
But, if you do find a solution though, let me know.
I do this too.
Unfortunatly I get bored a lot. |

| | At the risk of being redundant, I suggest you to go swim. REALLY. I'm going back tonight, totally digging it. I even just came back from buying a yellow swimming cap!
WARNING: if you go swim and take a shower afterwards, be careful. There might be some chinese milf taking a shower all naked with ENORMOUS nipples.

| | | Cricket, you could also buy food that can only be cooked? It would take you more time to eat, and cooking could keep you busy?

I can't swim!!
And ama poor! so can't afford a gym membership,
and the local pool doesn't stay open late at all.
But good suggestion
And I'd be pretty ok with showering with a MILF with giant nipples |

keep food out of sight. have only enough food for a few days and ration it.
but, i'm about to make a thread about emergency/earthquake food, so keep extra food for that, but nothing you enjoy eating, so you don't get tempted to eat it. |

fucking yes.
this thread can be closed now.
but in all seriousness, if you do drink, drink to the point of near-oblivion (roughly where the room starts spinning, but not so much that it'd make you throw up) b/c if you stop before that you wil eeeeaaaaat like a motherfucker.
what dentyne said about buying foods that require effort in cooking is also very good advice, and possibly better than getting fucking hammered every night.
unless you have a taste for uncooked dry pasta or some shit.

| | Go for a walk. Or just go somewhere, really. It's no suprise that you're bored if you're inside a lot. Go find some interesting places!
Keep your hands busy.
Do something that requires a lot of concentration/application so that you're not thinking about eating.
Keep your mouth busy lol. Chew gum, drink tea. Or how's this - Whenever you feel the boredom munchies coming on, pick up the phone and call a friend? I guess that's counter-productive as it costs money tho... tell them to call you back |

| | | I eat when I am bored too. So I try to sit in my room because I am also too lazy to go to the kitchen. Other things I do are, buying things that need preparing before eating because I can't be bothered with that unless I am making a proper meal, or painting my nails. |
