| | | I have never tried Bikram Yoga, but I will. SOON. I am trying to build up my stamina enough to be able to endure an hour and a half of class. I hear it's AMAZING though.
It's a series of 26 poses, repeated twice, and the temperature is set to 105 degrees. It's serious bizzzness. |

I get quite stressed for some reason when my hair feels sweaty, but I might try it if there's somewhere I can do it nearby...
Do you need to be able to do yoga before you go?

Still not nearly a good enough reason for me to go into a room that hot.

my tip: go to the first class in the morning, cuz if you go late at night, the studio will be waaaay hotter and waaaay more humid, making it much worse lol. |

| | | my friend had to do this as part of her yoga instructor course and she described it as "hitler with a headset, making you do yoga in a sauna". sounds like hell, but good for you.
The idea of it being that hot is to replicate the conditions you would get in India I think, but it's an American thing. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
