Unhappy help

I have been going to the gym for 3 weeks now, 5 days a week for an hour+ each day. I do cardio and weight machines everytime I go. I eat pretty well and I have not yet lost 1 lb.

I should have lost atleast 3 or 4 by week 3 right? I'm so bummed. Anyone else have this happen? How did you fix it?

What exactly does "eat pretty well" mean? I don't think exercising alone will really make you lose weight... you have to make changes in your diet too.

hi hon! listen my friend just went through this same thing. she was working out like crazy and dieting and ended up gaining weight! she went to see a nutritionist and come to find out she was eating too many veggies! weird huh? yeah, she would just eat them non-stop thinking it was good for her but she was eating them even when she wasn't really hungry and lots of times she would add butter (duh) to them. anyway, she changed her diet and now she's down 9 lbs.

well my diet pretty much is consistant. for breakfast ill have oatmeal and a banana, a few hours klater maybe an apple w/ peanut butter as a snack and for lunch either a yogurt w/ granola or a salad (ive been obsessed w/ greek salad lately) and then dinner is different every night.

you realise as well that the exercise is increasing your muscle mass which will make you heavier
