I never learned to ride a bike (oh, the shame!)

So since I can't ride a normal two-wheeler, I've been thinking about getting a tricycle. Yes, I am nearly 25 years old. They do sell these for adults too, you know, although the "disabled" categories on the websites are starting to put me off...

So what do you think? So should I buy and ride it with pride, or should I sit in shame inside? That's quite a nice little rhyme.

edit to add: I am not keen on learning to ride a normal bicycle since I live in a city and it's scary to think I might fall off into oncoming traffic...

you need to learn how to ride a proper bike
drive somewhere not cityish and learn
you owe it to your inner child

I've been indulging my inner child a lot recently! My husband tried to teach me to ride on a country lane, but the bike was too tall for me and it hurt my crotch! Also, I broke my coccyx a few years ago but it never set properly and when I wobbled and put my legs down to keep from falling over, that caused a bit of pain.

So if I did get a trike, it would probably have a bucket seat. I just have to save up the £500 or so that it costs to get one, and also swallow my pride and buy from a "disability and mobility" website. If I do get one, I'll put up picks of me going for picnics
