soy milk

im contemplating switching to soy in my coffee instead of cream because on my journey to weight loss i know cream isnt helping. i used to drink skim only, as i hated the idea of cream or any other type of fatty milk in my coffee. but then i accidently discoved the simple pleasure that is a little extra cream in my iced coffee is to die for.

anyway, now that im bitten by the cream bug and trying to get off, i want to try something new. the idea of other milks (2% and the whole ) still boggles me and i do only use skim in my everyday life but i tried it in my coffee today and it just doesnt do it anymore.

where i work we have the option of westsoy milk in plain or vanilla. s this a good brand? is it tasty?

i want the opinion of others before i try it. i have a hard time trying new and unfamiliar liquids .

I personally find Silk brand soymilk to be the creamiest, most flavorful kind. Be sure to use the plain one. And none of the low-fat crap; the fat in soymilk is mostly the good kind anyway.

Just a caution about soy milk. A lot of the soy milk products are actually dangerous for you to drink because they're not fermented properly. Get a good brand. In Australia the only two that anyone should drink are Vitasoy or Bonsoy (the UHT kind). the rest are poison.

You have to ferment soy for a particular amount of time because it contains something (forgotten what).

I hate food administrations, 3/4 of the "food" sold on the market should not be classified as food at all and there needs to be tougher regulations on products.
