new diet and exercise in the new year?

after having a terrible day out shopping and accidently ripping a dress in zara as I tried to take it off, I have gone out of denial and realised that I need to exercise. I know what I need to do. Ive read enough books and threads on KR to do this but I intend to walk back into my gym in the new year. I may brace it on monday but I very much doubt it. I was going to pig out but luckily today's mirrors have altered my decision.

Are you going on a new diet and exercise? what is your plan and goal?

oh god yes, I have but on a stone since easter i dont know how my diet hasnt changed at all. I have started to keep a food diary just to keep track of all the trash i acctually eat. Come Jan when I'm back at uni I will be going to fitness classes. Although the timetables for the classes dont say what level theyre at so im scared i'll get laughed at for being so incredibly unfit.

I'm in. It's just difficult for me to go without wine and a few beers a week.

I also need to exercise. I was thinking of doing some boxing... but I'm not sure.

I'll post more when I have a concrete plan!

My goal is now to get to the gym at least 4 times a week. I am planning one time to be a yoga/pilates lesson.

I would reccomend kettlebells I only do it once a week but people keep saying how much weight I have lost. I also try and have a healthy breakfast and dinner then I have what I want for tea.
