cooking chicken

When you cook chicken, (I only use boneless skinless chicken breasts) do you rinse or wash the chicken first, or make it straight from the package?

What is your favorite way to make chicken? I got most of my chicken recipes from Rachael Ray.

I used to rinse it but actually you don't need to and it really just contaminates your sink.

I like to make pretend shake and bake and serve it with veggies and rice.

Marinated grilled chicken is my favorite. I have a cast iron grill pan that I use inside during the cold months.

I don't rinse the chicken unless it is a whole bird.
