not just for sandwiches and hot dogs...

call me simplistic but i usually just put mustard on sandwiches and hot dog s (just did so 2 days ago) but i digress i hear that theres even more to that as mustard is used on a ton of cooking dishes. so i was wondering: does anyone here have any tasty recipes that include mustard perhaps using a dijon mustard for example something like a Grey Poupon Mustard?

i put a little dijon mustard (sometimes seeded as well) in cheese sauce or white sauce (eg flour and butter as a roux and then add in milk in small lots on a moderate heat).

you can also use it on your bbq foods. i'm veggie so last night we used it on our soy snags and soy "fillets".

you can use a little in a vinegarette with oil and salt and pepper and lemon juice over salads.

or as a marinade.

just think of what tastes you like together with mustard and try and apply it.

i've had seeded mustard in a soup but they put too much and it was too mustardy for my liking
