| | | not being hungry in the morning Whenever I wake up, I get really dizzy and can barely see anything until I've eaten something. The thing is that I don't really get hungry but I just have to eat something to feel "normal". Why is that? Does that happen to anyone here? |

| | | i'm not a doctor, so i have no idea what it could be.
if i were you, though, i'd go get myself checked out (could be anything... like diabetes, for example).
you can barely see anything when you first wake up until you've eaten?
that's not normal. |

| | | Low. Blood. Sugar. Possibly. Happens to me every day although it also gets less and less awful every day. I never want to eat before about 11am but I force myself to have oats or something substantial.
Althought, the weird thing is that if I sleep until lunch time I don't get that sickly blurry vision dizziness. I'm just fucking ravenous instead. |

| | | Here's a quick test for it: get 10% solution of liquid zinc from the chemist and put some on your tongue. If it tastes revolting and sweet you have low blood sugar. If it has no flavour at all you should go and get a diabetes test <3 |

| | | When you do eat, make sure its a high volume breakfast eg bran and/or oats (muesli or granola as the 'mericans call it) and fruit and yoghurt. Don't eat high sugary crap things or processed food, it will last longer and eat small meals every few hours and you might find your sugar levels are stable.
However I concur with everyone else: go and see your doctor and get yourself checked out. Not being able to see isn't very good. |

| | | I've never been a breakfast or any type of food person in the first few hours after I wake up, the thought of food makes me sick and gag, I just like to be left alone while I wake up but my tummy does start to growl but food is the last thing on my mind |

| | Actually, now that I think about it, I actually hardly ever realize that I'm hungry if it wasn't for me feeling slightly dizzy & shaky. |

I'm always starving in the morning, but I think it's because I usually go to bed hungry, I sleep better that way (I feel too disgusting to sleep if I'm full). You really just need calories and protein, so if you're not hungry, try some milk, slimfast, or a smoothie, just to start your metabolism up. |

Maybe make an appointment at a holistic doctor? That's where I get mine. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
