How to gain weight?

Okay, I'm tired of reading threads made by the sexy girls on this board who don't need to lose weight about losing it. Give all yer friggin extra weight to me, because I can't keep it on. I've tried heaps of stuff to gain weight and get into the "normal" range for my height, but I'm still in the "get yer coffin ready" weight category.

Here's my issues:

*Fat makes me puke, so can't eat fatty foods. Can only really have "good" fats like omega 3 and that shit.
*Sugar makes me have stomach cramps, so can't eat that. Also makes me want to sleep for weeks on end. Hi, Sleeping Beauty at your service
*Dairy and wheat give me the runs. So I don't have much of them.
*I have low blood sugar and low red blood cell counts.

Basically I eat really well and am never conventionally ill, I never really have coughs or colds or anything. But I'm tired all the time and have had a million blood tests that rule out CFS, food allergy, parasites and a few thousand other things I can't remember.

Does anyone have any sensible advice, or have been through something like this? What did you do to gain weight? And also, feel free to put useless tips like "drink raw eggs to build muscle" in this thread- kinda like a "don't eat food" tip for the losing weight threads.

Enjoy it while it lasts. I used to make people sick with all the stuff I could eat and completely laugh it off . I used to be Chris Robinson/Kurt thin.

But one magical day, your metabolism is gonna let off the gas pedal. I'm still kinda small statured, (small frame/tall) but the spare tire that didn't exist is inflating...

If you wanna skip the raw eggs route, try a Whey Protein drink. Not any of those weight gainer powders either. Whey Protein powder.

I've read that it's good for people who want to gain weight to drink lots of fruit juice, because it adds on plenty of calories without unhealthy amounts of fat/sodium/etc. But fruit juice is mostly pure sugar (just fructose instead of sucrose) so it might not work out.

Can you eat peanut butter? It's high in calories but not tremendously unhealthy.

For low blood sugar, you basically want to keep your energy even. Eat every few hours and every time you eat, get a good mix of protein, carb, and fat. People with low blood sugar tend to get extremely tired after eating carbs by themselves. I love sugar but I can't eat it without a meal along with it because it puts me right to sleep, which I've been told is a low blood sugar thing. Same with other carbs -- if I have pancakes for breakfast I'm tired all day. You don't have to drink eggs but find tricks for adding protein to all your meals/snacks. Hard boiled egg whites and tuna are both basically pure protein nutritionwise.

Is the low red blood cell count an iron thing? I know low iron causes anemia and blood problems but I'm not sure about red blood cell count. Besides red meat, beens and spinach are both good sources of iron. So are some cereals that are iron-enriched. Have something high in vitamin C with your iron rich foods because it enhances the absorption of iron.

Thanks for your advice, but:

isn't helpful! Haha. I clearly don't enjoy being this underweight, or else I wouldn't have made a thread about it I should try to get some whey powder again, I had it once and it was okay. Oh, and it's not my metabolism, I don't think. Some days I have to force myself to eat because I'm just so lethargic and don't want to eat anything...

Coolness. I might go and buy organic peanut butter because the one I usually like is packed with sugar and makes me really icky. Yeah, the blood cell count is how they measure anaemia. Sorry, I just sorta wrote what I was trying to remember. Haha.

I'm really fucking fussy, which is half my problem, I'm not a fan of beans, tuna or eggs, but I can force myself to eat them if they're gonna help. They don't make me feel sick, I just don't like the taste that much.

I also need to find something high in Vitamin C that isn't too acidic. I'm trying this thing where I boost my pH level so that it's more alkali than acid. I'll let you know if that helps in any regard.
