Swing one of these (Kettlebells) around for a bit instead. You'll get strength and cardio at the same time.

After you burn off the fat and gain some strength, maybe you can show off like this guy or wind up knocking yourself senseless.

I'd be a lot quicker to advocate kettlebell exercise than some 8 minute miracle that every fitness trainer has somehow completely overlooked. Tony Robbins name on the book adds another red flag.
Fitness has go to have the biggest amount of misinformation and flat-out deceit in selling you a product that doesn't work than any other avenue of human existence I know of.
Gain some strength and modify your diet and it will come in time. There are no quick fixes.
If there were, the pharma industry would be the first one cashing in on it and sicking the FDA on anybody who tries to undermine their profit margins.
