A section of one of the review comments:

The basic theory of the book is that if you are able to speed up your metabolism you will lose weight with a lot less effort. The best way to speed up your metabolism is to do your exercise first thing in the morning, and do strength exercises not cardio-vascular exercise.
Swing one of these (Kettlebells) around for a bit instead. You'll get strength and cardio at the same time.

Video: Kettlebell Training Basics from ExpertVillage

After you burn off the fat and gain some strength, maybe you can show off like this guy or wind up knocking yourself senseless.

YouTube - Kevin performs kettlebell drills

I'd be a lot quicker to advocate kettlebell exercise than some 8 minute miracle that every fitness trainer has somehow completely overlooked. Tony Robbins name on the book adds another red flag.
Fitness has go to have the biggest amount of misinformation and flat-out deceit in selling you a product that doesn't work than any other avenue of human existence I know of.

Gain some strength and modify your diet and it will come in time. There are no quick fixes.
If there were, the pharma industry would be the first one cashing in on it and sicking the FDA on anybody who tries to undermine their profit margins.
