Ex-lax? Limb amputation?

Supposedly colonics get rid of a lot of weight pretty instantly, but no one notices when you lose weight from inside your intestines.

a stone's about 7 or 8 kg right?

i once lost 10kg in 7 seven days by running every morning, doing an hour of ta bo & an hour in the gym every night & eating mainly warm chicken salads & salad sandwiches.

about 6kg i think. my bestfriend stupidly got herself in a biggest loser style competition so i said ill do it with her. i reckon extremely low carb diet and very moderate exercise.

I'd say more than moderate exercise.
Doesn't it depend on your weight to begin with, I mean if you're a reasonable weight to begin with surely its going to be more difficult to shed the weight

well she weighs 58 and i weigh 60 so its not like we have a lot to lose. more than moderate exercise youll end up with muscle mass no?

kat for your height and weight (or lack thereof) it would not be healthy to lose such a huge amount in one week. a healthy weight loss for one week is about 0.5kg - 1kg. if you lose it that quick, you'll gain it back just as quick

p.s. soup and exercise and at least 2-3 litres of water a day. avoid salty foods. lots of fresh druit and vegetables

I always thought the bigger you were the moer you could lose at a quicker rate. however unlees you barely ate and just did intensive excercise pretty much 24/7 surely its impossible to lose a stone in a week ?

i know

the idea isnt to lose weight and keep it off and get healthy yadda yadda. but to see if i can. its me being competitive. for my height/frame i can afford to weigh as little as 43 without being under weight. so 5kg are just excess weight to shed anyway. im just going to give it a go and see how it turns out. so soup, low carb, vegetables and moderate exercise (because im plain lazy)

let you know how it goes.

I agree with Germs. Losing weight fast is not healthy. Besides you didn't gain that weight in a week or two. the best way to lose weight is to consult a doctor especially for people under the age of 18.

if that's all you're going to do you may want to consider moderate exercise twice a day. probably 2 twenty minute jogs.

The people on the biggest loser start off hugely obese, so they lose weight faster.

Besides, the show makes more money the less time they spend feeding/housing the cast, so they're going to have them lose weight as fast as possible to wrap up filming. That doesn't mean it's at all healthy or desirable.
