Good luck.... which part of UK you in? Coz in England from july you can't smoke in pubs/ or any enclosed public space. It already in Ireland/Scotland/Wales

I tell you it deffo effectin the pubs near me.

Think people just buy cans and take them home to smoke n drink infront of their kids (good move government )

there used to be old fashioned smoking rooms in UK pubs - why not introduce them, keeps businesses going; protects kids; and public can choose if they wanna go in them - so its an adult decision if you want 2nd hand smoke...

Hope it works out for you, My mate's mum uses a plastic pen type thing with nicotine capsules - my mate tried it (she smokes) n was choking on the stuff. But it helps her mum, she reduced smoking loads.

I need to quit as well. It's hard to stop because my dad smokes more
than 2 packs a day.

Well that would involve giving an individual some sort of choice in the matter, which theyre obviously not into!

To be honest I think the ban will help. I'm not bothered about the ban, but I hate that its happeneing. Its a sickness of our culture that we lie down and take it.

I can't personally believe the French rolled over. I mean fair enough tell an American what to do and theyll do it. Thats what theyre famous for, but im shocked that all over europe its happening.
