Question Dieting...

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any dieting advice...
I've just started being healthy... even excercising:O lol
But what I want to know is if there is anything I can do to boost the weight losing process for the first few weeks.
I'm not grossly overweight or anything.
I'm a UK size 12 but I've been binge eating for comfort lately and I want to know how to get rid of this podge ASAP lol
Thanks
ttyl
xx

this is just a general guideline...

drink lots of water and herbal tea.

have plenty of fruit and veggies.

avoid calorie rich food like fast food and sugary products.

don't skip on meals. it's better to maintain your bloodsugar level, otherwise you might fall back into binge eating.

eat fewer calories than you need. have smaller amounts.

try to eat fish more often, it's ideal.

well, good luck!

Just remember you didn't go to bed one night a certain size and wake up with the podge. It took time to develop and will take time to get rid of it so don't get discouraged and give up after a couple weeks. Persistence pays.

And if your serious about getting it off and keeping it off for good, you need to approach this more as a long-term lifestyle change. Most who just quit once they get to where they want to be will gain it all back after awhile when the exercise stops. The metabolism slows as you age and after awhile you start losing lean mass each year too. You know what happens then: Fat shows up in its place.

If you're going to do cardio, try to incorporate some body weight exercises like push-ups, bicycle crunches, squats and maybe a few pull-ups. Do these and the cardio on alternate days.
