| once you get the right technique (it takes a while) you'll be an omlette making champion!
i heat the smallest frypan i have to medium heat (cook all other stuff in a seperate pan first ok, but keep it warmed). preheat your grill too at this stage, you'll need it to finish off the top of your omlette.
crack open 2 eggs and add a dash of milk, pepper, some herbs and stuff if you feel like it. beat the shit out of them.
spray the pan with oil and add your egg mix, gently drop in your warm pre-cooked mushrooms, onions or whatever and walk away for a few minutes.
when you see the eggs start to cook on the top, take the pan off the heat and sit it under the grill until the top cooks through. you can throw on some cheese at this stage if you like but cheese is cow pus, you shouldn't really eat it.
the base shouldn't burn as the heat is only medium, the top will be golden and the omlette will rise a little and be super fluffy and tasty! |
