Meatloaf

yeah it is kinda boring but it fits into most all the ingredients I have on hand and it would be something I haven't had since eating at my parents.

any tips?
any simple recipes?

I am making red-skinned mashed potatoes on the side along with some steamed lemon brocolli.

it's not really the same.
meatloaf is sausage meat and mince and bits of green shit thrown in. served in a cake tin. bleeech.
hamburger meat is mince. served with yummy things like bread and lettuce and beetroot and tomato and dressing etc.

sausages are usually gross unless you buy good ones, and hamburger are best when you make them yourself. even better if you get good steak mince.

lean ground turkey, cooked brown rice or panko, eggs, small dice onion and green/red/yellow peppers, garlic powder, a little soy sauce and a little mustard makes an ok meatloaf. otherwise, ewww.
