Well obviously i meant carbs as in pasta, rice, noodles etc. People on this board are so damn critical. Whats so wrong wih wanting to cut out carbs two of three times a week? Its a well known fact that eating too much carbs makes you put on weight.

i live on carbs and i'm 5'2 and 44 kilos. carbs don't necessarily make you fat. it's about portions and balance. as long as you have a healthy balanced diet and get some exercise you shouldn't need to cut out carbs.

and don't go 'oh obviously i meant' ...

if you didn't say it then probably it wasn't obvious. so. when you say something like:

Quote:
can anyone reocmmend some delicious no carb dinners
probably we'll presume that you mean "no carb dinners".
it's what you said, after all.

roast vegtables in the oven with just a little bit of olive oil and season them with salt/pepper and herbs. the oven should be hotter than for baking. and let them cook till right before they will start to burn for nice carmalization.

suggestions:
eggplant
zuchini
onions
peppers
garlic
mushrooms

very fast and easty for nights when you allow yourself a little more carbs try cooking together in a saute pan:
frozen okra
canned tomatoes plain or seasoned with chili's
corn and or black beans
onions
season with garlic, salt/pepper and a little bit of oregano or fresh cilantro and maybee some lime juice.
it's very fast and easy
