May 10,000 steps challenge??

I forgot about the Raw Food thing and with winter coming on I don't see that possible until September for me when its Spring. Excuses excuses i know but its harder to eat raw cold food in autumn/winter.

Anyway I think that it would be cool to have a May challenge that is exercise based to compliment the raw foods diet.

Anyone interested?

At work we did the 10,000 steps program and all anyone needs is a pedometer. we could divide into themes perhaps?

what's the average for steps taken in a month if 10,000 is the goal? or is it 10,000 extra steps above and beyond? I'm interested in doing this challenge.

its 10,000 steps a day and perhaps we can do what they did at work, set a goal of a route and divide people into teams (if there are enough people wanting to do this) and we log each team's daily steps.
the minimum you're supposed to do is 10,000 steps and of course the goal would be to do more.

My work just did this and I came to the conclusion that 10,000 steps per day = about 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking
