Mousakka

I think this is a Greek dish, at least the Greek restaurants in my area seem to sell a lot of it. I used to buy a lot of it from the Supermarket but it never tasted as tasty as the home made Greek stuff.

Its kinda a lamb dish and recipes are on google.com.

Ever tried it?

as i don't care for most meats, i have made vegetarian moussaka several times. i use lentils in place of the lamb, or sometimes i don't substitute anything. the result is lovely, tomato-y, and healthy.

There is a recipe on msn.au that lists 400g tomato in mousakka so you may be right. But I really gotta say, I never tasted tomato in it, just lamb.
