milk...

i have never really been able to drink milk by itself unless its skim, and even then its kind of hard. the thickness if whole and 2% makes me want to gag.

but im trying to start drinking atleast 3 servings a day. i was reading low fat and skim milk can help jump start your weight loss, and im willing to try this.

my question is for those of you who have the same outlook on milk as i do, how do you drink it, if you even do? and does it have to be by itself? or do you count something like a latte (which is all milk, pretty much) as a serving?

It's not just milk that can help with weight loss, it's all forms of low fat dairy I thought.

Over in the UK we have like strawberry syrups and things to add into milk, which are really nice.

I reckon a latte would be a serving. But if you had a couple of cups of tea or coffee with milk, that'd be a serving too.

I really don't believe that milk helps with weight loss. That's propaganda put out by the dairy industry. I have always believed that milk is not really good for you... full of hormones, antibiotics... it's just gross. If it's the calcium you want, you can get plenty of calcium from certain vegetables like broccoli, dark greens, etc. And that's a much healthier way to get it.
