I'm posting this thread because I work in a chip shop, and after finishing I just made myself a portion of chips to eat on the way home. But for some reason, for the past 6 months anything from the chip shop makes me feel a bit sick?
It's not bad hygiene or anything because, well, I would know; and it's not that I don't like them, I love chips. I keep eating them because I'm hungry and I keep thinking this will be the time I don't feel sick, but it doesn't happen. I'm vegetarian so they're pretty much my staple work diet, unless I bring something in (I used to have onion rings or spring roll instead, but they now seem to be ruined for me as well..). My boss seems to think it's because I'm working with them for hours, but I'm not sure it's a mental thing because this even happens when I'm really, really looking forward to eating them. Although it has been since he switched to new potatoes, which make horrible chips; and continued after he switched back. I also can still eat chinese chips without feeling ill. I can't believe how much I've said about chips
It's wierd. Does anyone else have food they like, that makes them feel ill, or is it just me?
