does green tea count towards 8 glasses of water a day?

it's basically just water anyway, but so is coffee.

is there something about green tea that makes it more like water than other drinks?

if i just drink green tea is that okay?

I think green tea does but coffee most certainly doesn't. That actually absorbs the water in your system. It's got caffeine in it.
