me and my man friend went out to a secret wooded area and gathered half a grocery sack full of nice big fat healthy looking morel mushrooms today.
i took them home
i trimmed them and sliced them in half
i soaked them in salt water
i dipped them in egg and dredged them in seasoned flour
i fryed them in way too much butter
and they were ridiculously good.
goddamn, if you have a chance to try fresh morels prepared this way, please do.
