It is not ludicrous to have only orange juice for breakfast. For people who don't usually have breakfast , it is not a big deal. I have never been a breakfast person and I am perfectly capable of functioning extremely well without it. I have finished schools with honor degrees and I have made lots of progress at work without having brekfast every morning. I just eat lunch earlier than most, like around 12 perhaps. Skipping solid meals are actually recommended in some diets. It may not be the ideal diet but it is not THAT unhealthy to only have a fruit juice or a smoothie for breakfast. "You can't not eat something". Well, you CAN. It is a preference to whether to eat something for breakfast or not. It si not as "ludicrous" as you think it is. Like i said I am not saying it is the PERFECT diet to skip breakfast and only have juice instead, but it is not as awful as you make it out to be.

but breakfast kickstarts your metabolism and also (i don't know this for a fact, my mum told me) having something acidic first thing in the morning is supposed to be bad for you.

if one doesn't want orange juice, then one can have a freaking vitamin&energy boost-filled smoothie. Many diets replace breakfast with fruit juice or smoothies. The word "ludicrous" rubbed me the wrong way, it is not like i am saying fruit juice is healthier and better than a breakfast but it is sufficient enough to start your day on, and only 3 or so hours later you will eat your lunch anyway. It is just not THAT incredibly unhealthy a choice as some people make it out to be. I am also not saying having fruit juice is better than the breakfast recal suggested. I am just commenting on whether having juice or smoothie for breakfast is "ludicrous" or not.

I wasn't on their diet, but when I was losing weight, I ate LOTS of weight watchers frozen meals that I got from the supermarket.
