| | | Healthy lunch ideas... I'm fed up of eating salad every day for lunch.
Can anyone nominate some healthy lunch ideas that I can start using?
Like I said, I want to eat healthy, but eating salad every day for lunch makes me feel a little bloated. Bit of an error. |

soups are also good and wont make you feel bloated, especially if they are veggy.
cuccumbers & tomatos in curry sauce...oh so yummy and only about 5 mins to make. |

| | | couscous is great to take to work/make the night before as you get all the brilliant flavours mixed together. roast a little garlic gently, chop and stir into the cookced couscous with some roast chopped peppers, mushrooms and some salted lemons if you can get hold of them. You can chuck in some chicken, bacon, or veggie altrnative if you like.
potato salad's wonderful, just make sure you make it with salad potatoes, and stir in some cheddar cheese (mature and in little cubes), chopped gherkins, and cubed cucumber. Light mayonnaise is yummy.
do a pasta salad - wholemeal pasta, pine nuts, cucumber, basil, baby spinach leaves, etc. |

I find that if I buy soup, I just eat soup every lunchtime with about fifty slices of toast.
I'm hopeless. |

I try not to buy bread, because then I usually have toast for breakfast, toast with my lunch, and then bread with my tea. |

I always used to by those baked Lays chips but now I can't find them at the 7-11 near my school. I have to resort to the 'lightly salted' original Lays which are still fucking greasy. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
