Well sense the old thread was lost... bleh...here's what I had yesterday...

1 cup ready-to-eat frosted cereal
Try some muesli or plain cornflakes, with some low-cal granulated sweetener sprinkled over if you need the sweetness (I know I do).

2 Tbsp half-and-half cream
Use low fat creamer or, better yet, skimmed milk.

1 Tbsp sugar
Use low cal sweetener. You can get those little sweetener tab things that you can carry around with you and a jar of the granulated sweetener for home.

2 oz uncooked pasta
Take it easy on the carbs. If you're going to have pasta, perhaps have half your typical portion of pasta and fill up the rest of the plate with salad. See below for tips for salad dressing.

1/2 cup bottled pasta sauce
Make your own. All you need is a tin of chopped tomatoes, some veg (bell peppers, onion... anything you fancy, really) and some herbs/spices. Easily lower in calories than prepackaged sauce.

1 cup mixed baby greens
I was thinking 'nicely done', until I noticed...

1 Tbsp creamy salad dressing
Try drizzling some balsamic vinegar or squeezing some lemon juice over your veg or salad. If you need the creaminess, some extra-low-fat mayo would be a smarter idea than that dressing. Some finely-chopped raw onion will add flavour too.

Edit: oh, and I've no idea what the hell ready-to-eat granola cereal is, but one look at the number of points makes it plainly obvious that it is to be avoided.
