| | | stuck with the same old meal ideas In my house we all take turns to cook dinner, but the thing is we all seem to have got stuck making in the same things over and over. I'm not very creative food wise and need some new meal ideas. The things we usually make are:
lasagne
bolognese
roast dinner
pork chops
chilli
stir fry
enchiladas
Fish isn’t an option because one of my housemates is intolerant to most of it and another of my housemates claims that curry doesn’t agree with him. We're not veggies and I live with two blokes who feel hard done too if they don’t get their meat fix within a meal. Any ideas? |

| | | I don't know whether this has an official name, I call it 'The Baked Bean Sausage Thing'
get a casserole dish
put about an inch cooked sausage meat in the bottom (or sausages cut long ways and laid flat if you don' t have any sausagemeat)
fry some onions and put them on top of the sausagemeat
then a layer of baked beans
then a layer of mash (add cheese if you like that kind of thing)
put in the oven
a delightfully fatty but reeeeallllllly comforting and quick to make meal.
haha your current meals sound so much more interesting than the stuff i eat. honestly lasagne is as complicated as i get. i dread the day i have to host a dinner party. |

then with your hands, you can either make meatballs, or put all the meat together for a meatloaf.
for meatballs, you can fry them in oil or cook them in a glass pan in the oven.
with meatloaf, you stick it in a glass pan and also cook that in the oven. you can do a search on a cooking site for the temperature and times. |

| | | pasta with grilled chunks of chicken, and pesto stirred through - quick simple and tasty.
home make some barbecue sauce - a dollop of white wine vinegar, some dark brown sugar, chilli, tomato puree, and smoked paprika. do some strips of chicken or beef or chips to dip in it. |

heres some ideas for dinner time that i like to make:
1.homemade chicken noodle soup..its quick, easy and you'll have left overs for days!
2.vegi-soup
3.bbq pork tendorloin with homemade potatoes, mac n cheese, greenbeans and corn
4.rotisserie chicken mixed with salad, tomms, cucumbers, onions..etc..
5. tuna-lunas! (homemade tuna salad) put the salad on a slice of bagel, top it with a slice of cheese and a slice of tomm. and bake it in the oven long enough for the cheese to melt! easy and cheap
just a few! hope you enjoy some of these! |

Oooh I totally agree! Add lots of lime juice, chilli, lemongrass and coriander for a simple but gorgeous hot and sour chicken noodle soup. |

| | | asian lettuce wraps. so freakin' easy...
add finely chopped ginger and garlic to diced celery, carrot, and peppers (capsicums? europeans?) to ground chicken (or beef or pork) add oyster sauce, hoisin and soy sauce to taste... cook it all up in one pot, wrap with cooked rice in iceberg lettuce cups.
yum!
