| | Theyre going to make me EAT! My parents just freaked out on me a little bit ago at dinner.
When me and my little sister got up from the table, my father complained about how my legs are thinner than my 13 year old sisters. I find nothing wrong with that. I am 17.
They asked me to weigh myself and I said I was 105 pounds, just to sound even. I'm really 100, and my dad yelled at me for being 105.
Now my parents said theyre going to watch me eat and force me to.
I DONT WANT TO.
I EAT ENOUGH FOOD.
What the hell am I going to do?
I think its just because I lost all of my 'baby fat' and Im just maturing or something, I dunno why Im skinny. |

| | Yeah thats what I said.
Im thinking maybe because I used to be heavier, and theyre just not used to it.
I used to be 130, and now Im 100.
Maybe theyre just noticing now? I dont know.. |

| | | well losing 30 lbs when youre only 5'2 would be very noticible so i can see why they would comment, but i dont think it means you need to put weight on
youre at a normal weight now

| | yeah, same sort of thing happened to me. i lost some weight a couple years ago just working out and eating healthier so my mom automatically assumed i had an eating disorder and even had an intervention for me at my doctor's office! it's funny now but i was so angry at the time since i was really proud of myself for losing like 50 lbs. anyway! you're not an unhealthy weight and they can't force feed you.. just tell them to get lost. |

| | Theyre still going to make me eat though.
And what drives me crazy is theyre in denial of what size clothes I am.
If Im in a changing room and somethings too big, Ill be like ' Mum can you get the 00?'
And shell be like YOU ARE NOT A 00.
I dont know how to convince them, because since 'theyre the parents, theyre always right' |

Uhm, tell your dad to look at a height/weight scale before he looks stupid. Or shit, even tell him tocall your doctor & ask what a normal weight is for your height.
5'2", 100lbs is normal. You're tiny/short ....you're not supposed to weight a ton. |

| | aren't you 17 (or there abouts)? they can't have THAT much control of what you're eating. like, you can make your own meals/use a stove by yourself. |

| | My family is all about tradition.
We all eat the same thing, at the same time.
My parents said I wont be able to do anything if I dont eat. Theyll give me a plate and eat until THEY think Im full.
And my ex boyfriend (who right now is just a best friend) said I should gain weight.
EWWWWWWW. |

| | | I think you are technically underweight (going by BMI). But some people are naturally 'underweight'. I know I was in my early to mid teens, my weight/shape worried people too, but I was naturally skinny.
Reading your first post, you have a family dinner? So they do see you eat? Just not 'enough'?

| | I eat. Just not a big of serving of what they would have.
I tend to get full easier than they do apparently, and they say it isnt enough.
I dont know how to make them change their minds |
