| | | Sauces: the reason food is worth eating personally, i find sauces to be the most WONDERFUL thing on the planet.
i include condiments in the 'sauce' category.
what're your favourties?
what sauces can't you live without??
i vote for:
pesto
garlic sauce for dipping into breadsticks, at Papa John's
taco bell mild sauce
good bar-b-que sauce
ranch dressing
honey mustard
chinese plum sauce

Oh, pesto is my favorite. I could eat pasta & pesto daily.
I also love, tomato basil sauce, Olive Gardens alfredo (to dunk their yummy bread sticks in), sweet & sour, soy sauce.......I love chinese food....so most of their sauces are yum. |

| | | i eat pesto every day of my life
i made a mega sauce tonight for pasta, it had in it: creme fraiche, chopped tomatoes, garlic, oregano, pine-nuts, chorizo. and then i added some blue cheese. and pesto. this sounds like flavours overkill, but i promise it was lovely |

| | | At Vince's Italian Restraunt in Western WA, there's this chicken contadina pasta dish that has an amazing sauce. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about cooking, so I don't know what's in it, but it's white/clearish w/ spices. The dish also includes artichokes, mushrooms and grilled onions (I usually don't even like onions, but for some reason I do in this dish)...mmmmmmm |

...seems like it may be overkill/too thick...? | actually the creme fraiche i used is this odd low calorie stuff that comes out of a squeezy bottle so it's not very thick |

Oh, I've never seen the low cal stuff. Cause, the regular creme fraiche is so so so fatty & calorie loaded....but makes yummy sauces. | |
