New to this.

Is a cottage cheese diet a good way to loose weight fast?

I saw on MTV True Life where a girl just ate that and she did.

I am new to excercising and dieting.

I am 5'6" and now 120lbs. I gained 5lbs in 3 months due to new medication I am on and I am determined to stay fit and get down to 110.

I have a gym ball but don't know where to start.

I want to work on my stomach, "love handles", butt, and thighs.

Can you help?

I saw that show, too and wondered if that works. But after thinking about it I really doubt it. It might help you to lose weight but I think when you will stop the diet and eat the normal things you will gain weight and it will be the same situation like before.

yuck. i like cottage cheese, but after a few bites i'm always like why do i eat this stuff in the first place?

i couldn't imagine eating nothing but that.

like vegyrex said, just eat less of what you eat now. and no garbage, like fast food and all that. you'll lose it soon enough.

and remember that if you're exercising the areas you want to improve, you'll likely develop some muscle and everybody knows that muscle weighs more than fat, so take that into account when you're weighing yourself.
