| | | I've never had it at a chinese restauarnt, it seems like something they just give you for takeout. I like dipping spring rolls and greasy noodles in it, but I don't really understand its purpose. |

| | | This might be a regional thing, but here in NYC you can ask for the very hot mustard, which doesn't come in little packets, but rather in tiny little cups with lids. That shit is HOT! It's awesome if you have a nasty cold or stuffy nose.
Also, you can ask for hot oil, which is a spicy oil with red pepper flakes in it...also very, very hot. I love it.
I'm with Orchestral, I love putting it in soups. It's also good if you have a last-minute bowl of ramen...gives it a little flava! |

| | | it's not just a regional thing. i know most of the asian restaurants i frequent give the super hot stuff in the plastic cup too. that's really what i was trying to find a picture of, but couldn't.
i only ever see the plastic bag ones from like Panda Express or other more americanzied chains. |

| | | I stock up on those babies like they're GOLD.
Seriously, I must have like 10 packets in my fridge and a cup of hot oil.
I also have a lot of fortune cookies; why I save them, I don't know. I don't particularly like them. |

| | | I'm jealous now, this stuff in the little container sounds like it would be awesome. I die for the hot oil in the little containers, but the the hot sauce that comes in little tearable plastic packages suck in comparison. I'm imagining it's the same with mustard... mmmmmmmm....... |

This is where its at.
or if you can the specialty gourmet hot sauces they are even better.
And since I can only find a few slices of bread and some packets of that hot mustard. I am gonna try that toast concoction mentioned. I am desperate lol. |

| | | umm yeah ... about mustard ... some of you need to try Russian mustard ... seriously it's really good. First time try just half of spoon. Place it gently on your tongue. It's so good you gonna cry with joy. (pea size amount is good for one sandwich) | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
