What would happen if I just ate soup everyday for a month?

I think that's how Coleen Nolan lost so much. I'm pretty sure I can stick to it; I like routine eating, but I'm not going to end up fainting or anything am I?

you'll get the runs real bad I think. And you'll hate soup for the rest of your life. Seriously I think it isnt the best idea. Just eat healthy and excersise

if you make your own soup so you know what goes in it & you can add big vegetable pieces & the like it might be a little better.

i don't see why this wouldn't work.

it'll only be cooked vegetables and a little stock i'm assuming. you can get low salt stock so you won't go overboard. if you like your veges crunchy and chunky, there'd still be plenty of fibre and nutrients. just don't eat too many blended soups which are overly cooked as a lot of the nutrition will be lost i guess.

use brown rice, lentils and soy beans in it also for a change in texture and flavour. i could live on soups if i could only persuade the rest of the family to do it too...lol

if you need to eat bread with it, go for wholegrain or wholemeal.

stay away from cream, bread (mmm, especially crusty white bread and butter) and too much salt!

In the winter i eat soup all the time. But it's decent homemade stuff, packed with vegetables and lentils or beans. I also eat it with some wholemeal bread.

I do however think it's a bad idea to just eat nothing but soup for a month, a very bad idea, especially if it's shop bought stuff.

shop bought soup is full of sugar and salt so if you're gonna do it then make it yourself and add beans, lentils and chickpeas aswell as veg so you're still getting stuff you need.

I'd live off soup if i could, but i'd get sick of it.

A rich, chunky vegetable soup with plain vegetable stock, chili, fresh herbs and lentils sounds pretty heavenly! It's practically fat free and packed with good stuff.

i buy soup every time i go to the store and it sits in the cupboard...and then the next time i go i forget that i bought it the last time so i buy more...and it sits in the cupboard...it's a vicious cycle.

but i probably have enough soup in there to do that experiment myself. not that i would.

If it was canned soup, you'd probably get high blood pressure from all the sodium. But if it was healthy soup and you made sure to get plenty of protein by putting chicken or beans and tofu or any other kind of protein source in it, it'd be perfectly healthy. You can put anything in soup so you can get all your nutrients, and the liquid would be good for you.
