Sports Bras

Could anyone give me a bit of advice please?

I've never been that into sport but lately I have been going to the gym and really enjoying it. The only problem is I'm a bit lost on the whole sports bra issue! I bought one from Mark and Spencers ( ) but it seems to be doing more harm than good, I feel really tender at the top of my boobs near my armpits after exercise so I don't think the bra is giving me enough support. Also I'm a D cup so I think I might need something a bit more heaving duty. When I go to the gym I use the cross trainer and treadmill so I guess I'm doing high impact exerise. Also I've seen some girls who wear just little crop tops things, do they have much support?

Anyway if anyone could recommend some good sports bras I would be really greatful. I'm in the UK but don't mind ordering from overseas if there are some super great bras out there! Thanks in advance.

honestly, for since my breasts started the trek up from C cup (am at HH) i've found that sports bras don't work for me. oh, they do okay.... but not good if i'm going to be doing a lot of bouncing or yoga. and i've tried a lot of sports bras haha.

best for control during high movement activities that i've found is actually to avoid sports bras all together and wear a high quality full cup bra. i have two that i got from Bravissimo that i'd intended just for normal wear, but after finding how good support and control they have (i can do jumping jacks and have no significant bounce at all) i started using them at the gym.

high quality full coverage bra (correct size and not something cheap like from a regular department store or anything based on looks like from VS or FoH). really. spandex and its cousins just don't hold up to the inertia, in my experience.

I also bought a marks and spencer one and it's shite, and makes my boobs look really pointy like the maddonna cone bra! not a good look.
