do you have a "steady pace" when running?

ergh. those are probably not the words. what i mean is, are you able to keep going for a long time if you stick to a certain speed? and, if you run regularly, has that speed improved?

i'm asking because i suddenly noticed that i can run! or, you know, more like waddle, but at least i can keep going. i could never EVER do that before. running has always been a pain in the ass for me. i could go maybe 30 seconds, and then i'd have to stop. it was painful and heavy and felt unnatural. but after losing about 20 lbs i suddenly noticed that running was so much easier. i'm not even in better shape, i think it's just because there's less of me to haul around.

the other day i ran for an HOUR, and had to quit in the end because i was BORED. i wasn't even tired, just all warm and sweaty and loosened up. that's such a nice feeling. like putting grease in a machine. everything just runs so much smoother.
