| | | what kind of non-paid-for exercise do you do? i.e. stuff that isn't paid for ie gym membership/equipment.
i.e playing with dog or kids at park
walk
swimming
farm work
volunteer work i.e. walking neighbourhood dogs or a charity like a pound cleaning kennels
paid work that is kind of physically demanding
etc
just interested in knowing what alternatives poeple see to paying for tacky and weird equipment and exercise classes full of spandex and instructors yelling "come on; push it!" ! |

| | | Walking at the mall. I started doing that the day after I got out of the hospital last year. I wasn't allowed to lift weights or use my cycle. At first it took me over 30 minutes to walk one miles. Two months I was able to walk 6 miles in less than 90 minutes. |

| | | walking to work.
I should really do more sit ups at home but Im so lazy. Im hoping to get the motivation to start doing a lot of them. I stopped a couple of years ago as I was told that they didnt work, but now I am at a gym I think I would benefit from doing more. |

er, but when i do exercise, it's usually walking or riding my bike because whenever i run it hurts my knee.
i prefer dvd workouts though, it feels like i'm getting a more complete workout.

i just recently got a bike, i need to use it more often. it's just so painful getting it out of my apartment porch, and then down the stairs to use it. |

| | | Walking, lots of it. And me and the boy went cycling the other day and I'm thinking about doing that regularly as well. |

| | | Walk to college, it's about a 40 minute walk there, pretty much all up hill, & then a 25 minute walk back. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
