Protein Powders

Everytime I buy protein powder (usually whey powder) I can NEVER get the powder to dissolve! It just floats on top of the milk.

I have tried boiling the milk first (ew), which results in little chewey clusters of protein powder.

Can anyone recommend some GOOD protein/whey powder? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

What type of milk (whole, 2%, skim, etc) are you mixing it in? I have the "clumping" problem when I try anything besides skim milk.

I use EAS Soy Protein.

arcade__fire is on a distinguished road
theres one at my work called "whey breezer" by body plus. Its wonderful, mixes like kool-aid. You just shake it up or stir it up and it comes in different fruity flavours (mango peach is my favorite). 20 grams of protein and only 90 calories in one scoop.

I used to have that problem too.. with spiru-tein powder, and I have that problems with slimfast powder and everything.. so I bought a cup that had a good lid and I just put all the stuff in there, put the lid on it and then shake it up real good and it's instantly mixed perfectly smooth.

Btw, soymilk mixes a lot smoother than regular milk.

at the gym i work at we sell the Dorian Yates protein shakes, Pro-peptide and Pro-recovery
both mix well in a blender with milk or water
also, they do a 'shake and take' bottle which you dont use a blender for and still mixes well with just a good hand shake.
This range is also available for men and women and in different yummy flavours.

yes, i know i sound like a commercial.
