| | | My therapist is recommending I see a nutritionist If any of you know me in the slightest, you probably know how thin I am. Unfortunately, I don't see myself that way, and... well, let's just say that my eating habits reflect it.
So. My lovely therapist through out the idea of a nutritionist, to get my fears of weight gain under control and to help get in a habit of healthier eating. Basically I'm wondering if anyone can share their experiences with a professional nutritionist. I really have doubts that it's worth all of the trouble with my parents and paying for it and whatnot. |

| | | well if the eating is pyschological (sp?), as in you are trying to not eat and not actually a physical thing, physical meaning that you TRY to gain weight but can't, i would think it would be a therapists job to take care of that, i cannot see a nutritionist helping you with eating problems. |

Why aren't you on msn? | It might not be in Danbury! I have to look again. I'll be your nutrionist. I gave you that tip last night. Are you eating all those cakes I prescribed?

| | | I really think it could be the best thing for you (esp not knowing ya and reading what you'd listed). They're very knowledgble, first hand, and second, most do know their stuff. Do it. Could maximize your nutritional benefits, and help you learn, easier and quicker while allowing you to circumvent any trouble in the long run. Seriously think about it. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
