| | | Porridge oats, a strange thing called quinoa, which is like rice but not really but tastes just as nice with bolognese or anything else you would use with rice/pasta. |

| | Everyone beat me to it, I was going to say quinoa.....but instead I'll say........erm.....well apples with slices of cheese on them is quite tasty. (vegan cheese for me though.)
I don't know though, this whole low carb thing seems like a load of shit if you ask me. |

| | | girl germs, do you just steam your brussel sprouts? you like them? they are the one veg i have not been able to befriend. bitter to me.
anyway, something with some ZING to it. thick spicy lentil soup or minestrone, or a cassoulet of winter squashes. you need to feed your mouth as well as your stomach, and something that satisfies both keeps you from being hungry for a long time. |

i also hate eggplant
and portabello mushrooms, which i need to remnd my mother about as she always wants to incorporate them into holiday and special occasion meals
you know what i ate that was really satisfying and filling- kashi has these new frozen dishes
they have a mango black bean one that is so good
its one of the few things i can eat and actually feel like i am done eating when i am done with my meal
normally, even if i am full i still feel like i want something more but not with this
this does the trick
i think its the combo of grains they mix in with the rice
very yummy

| | | I had pasta made out of quinoa today, it wasn't particulary nice and it was hard and crunchy on the inside. I think it's more fattening than normal pasta so it's a bit pointless really. |

hehe
i have all these same problems
i think it varies from person to person
kinda like some people gain weight from fatty foods (me) and others from starches
