I was reading that, Microsoft vs Apple kind of article.

What I found was most interesting was the direction the industry is going. There are times when I go home and I don't bother turning on my laptop. There is no need, I can just use my phone and it's easier to use in some ways (it comes to the toilet with me, sometimes I even shower and check the internet/facebook).

I think it's going to break down into two seperate forms, this computing thing. Your carry with you product, your mobile device, and your house device or connected screen devices. Basically a small and a big one.

I certainly would never buy a standard desktop again.

kindle fire, laptop, android phone = can't imagine ever needing more.

I would probably buy a kindle fire if I could but I don't think they are available outside the US.

i don't know what to make of this. i own an iphone and macbook pro, but that's really just out of comfort not cause im an apple freak. mac computers are for lazy people like me.

i guess tablets are very useful if you're a traveller (i almost got one a while ago cause i was always going around for work and needed constant access to the internet and this laptop weighs a ton), but i never understood like 'regular' people. i know girls who only use their computers for facebook who own an ipad. what the **** are you gonna use that for?

What I like about the fire is that it's cheap. I wouldn't think twice about spending 200 euros on one. Somehow, 500 euros seems like, well, wait, do I REALLY need one of these?

I just like the idea of relaxing on my couch or bed and not dealing with a frigging laptop with frigging keyboard and a frigging mouse. Also this thing isn't out yet, this Surface, so at the moment I'm like, mother****er, damn, well, **** this then I can't even try it or buy it.

I want a kindle fire.
