Community radio and tv don't count as "the industry" since they get funding whether they do well or not. The people from community stations are usually really down to earth and just happy to get advice/access to anything. You can't get anywhere in commercial without being a ****, and lazy and trying to get other people to do your work for you.

Commercial is also high pressure. I like relaxing and just getting stuff done when I want to, not to deadlines.
