Here, in Canada, i got friends who received those kinds of email warning from Universal via the ISP but they can't do anything.
As it is international infrigment. You know, eventhough there is Interpol, it's pretty hard to sue people in other country and it
involve alot of money and time to doing so... Then, they do not follow the warning. But the ISP watch the users that did have those
warning. Like they will had this to the case. They don't really like to receive those kind of email from major labels. There was this
kind of flag on my internet account when i was like 12 yrs old. The FBI and the Coast Guard (something like that...) had moan about
something i did back then... I clearly remember the woman at the other end of the telephone line screaming "HEY, I DON'T KNOW
WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THERE BUT THIS IS REALLY BAD FOR YOU KID. DON'T EVER **** AGAIN WITH THE U.S. GOVERNMENT."
After that, i never heard about it again but that was hilarious, my prime moment of wannabe geek
It seems like there is some torrent seed out there who are trigger'd. They are there to you to download and get your information, etc.
This is a kind of malware made by those majors compagny. Obviously, they are doing this with their big titles. Because, this is from
what they are doing their money.
Those kind of warning doesn't mean anything when you are outside of the U.S. territory.
