What happens when you right click and select "Get Info"? At least I think that's what it is.... Regardless of the source I've been able to change all the info from there. But I haven't upgraded iTunes in a while.

two years ago i was using itunes and had a handful of random songs on it. but now i'm on a different computer.

and i reinstalled itunes now.

and am signed into my old itunes account.

but those songs aren't there anymore?

is that because i'm on a different computer?

or how do i get them back?

because that genius playlist thing is telling me things i bought two years ago. but i can't find those songs anywhere in the librarial.

haha no offense, but this thread so reminds me of talking my dad through setting up itunes and uploading songs onto his ipod.

no, you're not going to get the songs back because the song files are saved on your computer's hard disk. they only appear on genius because apple, thinks you might like them as well, based on what is currently in your library (on this computer).

If you bought the songs can't you transfer the license or something and it lets you have it again? I think you can do this twice? I know I did it once with an Imogen Heap song, but it wasn't as long as you took between swapping computers... like a couple of months for me.
